More before and after

It was really Workday Wednesday yesterday.  Both the morning and the evening groups met and we got working in the (shady) part of the Garden near the birdhouse.  We want it to be ready when Wayne brings the birdhouse back all cleaned up with a new roof on it.

This is what it looks like all cleaned up and ready for plants to complement the miniature version of the old tower.

Once that task was completed, we moved to the adjacent planting of overgrown spireas and uncovered the flagstone path around its perimeter.  It actually has quite an interesting three lobed shape ... perfect for scampering around!

The evening group took over and as the light faded and we were forced to call it quits we really had something to show for our efforts.  Good thing my camera has a flash!
