Miles to go ...

Rather than attack all the weeds that have popped up with the recent rains, we decided to carry on uncovering the flagstone paths during our workday yesterday.

We are also weeding and preparing beds for planting season now that the heat of summer is easing off.  We have been astounded by the size and beauty of the stones.  It's amazing to think that all these stones were gathered from the shoreline north of Smelter Wharf, not delivered by a truck on a pallet and unloaded with a forklift.
